Storyfest’s Beach Library activation for SWELL 2025 will be themed around Stepping into Your Own Story. This immersive, interactive activation will celebrate storytelling, identity, and community connection, all while making books accessible and fun. This free Beach Library is more than just a place to grab a book, it’s an invitation for every person to imagine themselves as the hero of their own narrative. Storyfest’s Beach Library will become a space that will celebrate reading and storytelling for all ages.

The activation will include: 

  • Story Sparks author, Mark Cunich, hosting a book reading on Saturday September 13
  • Free books to take home
  • Interactive art activities
  • Photo opportunity to see yourself as a hero in your own book

NEW LOCATION – Where to find SWELL Kids Elements

For the first time ever SWELL will host the SWELL Kids Elements & SWELL Wellness in a brand new setting, located at Len Wort Park, Teemangum Street, Currumbin Beach. Open daily from 9am to 5pm this vibrant hub is dedicated to interactive family friendly activities, creative workshops, wellness experiences and more. Coffee and delicious bites will be available to satisfy your cravings.
