The Oasis is proud to partner with SWELL Sculpture Festival this year to present the captivating installation The Visitor, a collaborative work by artists Mark George, John Vanderkolk and Jeremy Sheehan.
From September 9-21, The Oasis will transform into a pop-up gallery space as part of SWELL’s city-wide celebration of sculpture, creativity, and community.
The Visitor is about adventure, imagination, and connection with the inner child, with reference to days gone by, and a future view based on optimism, wonder and possibilities. The Visitor brings with them an invitation to all of us to regain this perspective
Join us at The Oasis to experience this unique artwork up close. Whether you’re a seasoned art lover or simply curious, The Oasis invites you to be part of this inspiring cultural moment.

John Vanderkolk, Mark George, and Jeremy Sheehan have shared a lifelong friendship and artistic inspiration, leading to their third collaboration for the SWELL Sculpture Festival, an event they eagerly anticipate each year. Individually, they have achieved significant acclaim: winning awards at the Florence Biennale, producing feature films, and exhibiting large-scale sculptures both nationally and internationally.
