SWELL Kids Elements is the new curated project dedicated to KIDS, ART & PLAY, to be experienced through the eyes of children. A place where little artists are invited to play and explore. To marvel at the elements of art and science and the environment, exploring shape, colour, texture, form, line and sound. To participate in fun, creative workshops, discover big & bold sculptures and experience performance art, evoking thought, creativity, conversation and interaction with art and the world around us while being inspired and empowered through creative expression.
From yarn to bamboo, traffic cones, rope, silk wedding dresses, clay, moulded recycled plastic, wire, books, clothes lines and human performers. This collection of contemporary sculptures, creative workshops and artistic & cultural performances have been created for curious minds to investigate and engage in, all set among the natural outdoor landscape of Wallace Nicoll Park, Currumbin.
