After finishing school, I completed an electrical apprenticeship. I moved to Lismore in 1989, where I married Sonja. We bought an old house which we renovated and sold. This is what we’ve been doing ever since. I obtained a carpenters licence along the way. W lived in Nimbin for five years, Katoomba for seven and Murwillumbah for five. Two sons, Reuben 22 and Zach 30. Have lived at Tyagarah, just outside Byron Bay, for the past fourteen years. Currently work as an assistant in nursing at an aged care facility in Byron Bay.
My lifelong love of art – the practical skills gained in my trades, and the abundance of interesting free material to be found on building sites, has allowed me to make many diverse artworks.
