Description

This work marks the beginning of a series that seeks to explore adolescent imagination. It originates from small moments Jennifer and her 9-year-old daughter spend exploring the rock pools along the SE QLD Coast. Familiar fishlike features, the work poses the question: Is it a fabricated object, or a tangible piece of nature? To develop this idea, the work seems to suggest that a childs’ imaginative play, much like the fragile creatures in a rock pool, may become increasingly vulnerable as they grow up in this rapidly evolving AI landscape.
