Description
Stephen Baxter was born in Sydney, Australia. He has an Honours degree in Fine Art and lives and works from his home and studio in Southport, on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. He is also known as ‘KingBricolage’.
Baxter explores historical and current social and economic structures. He attempts to address issues such as reuse and recycling, of materials and ideas while incorporating innovative and functional design.
Stephen prefers to research theories and explore ideas, methodologies, and mediums when developing a body of work, rather than maintaining one solitary, ‘Style’.
