Description
The local artist Bev Boura has made 52 hand stitched and decorated palm sized fabric hearts. Each heart incorporates a unique weekly theme, using techniques that may have been forgotten. Such as weaving, lazy daisy stitch, beading, macrame, couching and the good old fashioned art of cross stitch.

About the Artist
Bev is a vibrant, enthusiastic and colourful lady with a spring in her step for her new found passion in art textiles. Engrossing herself into the world of art, has not only brought Bev a sense of peace and wellbeing, but it has been a way of showcasing her artistic abilities. Bev has always had an interest in all artistic genres, ranging from a teaching degree in ceramics, to photography and textiles. A claim to fame also includes a stint modelling gloves for a large department store catalogue in Tasmania. Bev has never been afraid to start a new chapter in all things artistic. As Bev always says “One must have sunshine, art and a little flower”.
