Description

While creating a figurative work, David’s model was involved in a serious car accident. Deeply affected by the event, he was unable to complete the piece and ultimately destroyed it. Years later he decided to dedicate a sculpture to this memory and the fragility of life. Calling it Facing the Southerlies where it was placed in the clients garden. The Maquette is to a scale at 20% of the original.
