Description
The Sea Is Calling reflects a personal journey to the ocean. Growing up, living by the sea felt impossible, something reserved for other people — water was limited to a creek, the Yarra River’s edges, and local baths in the summertime. The beach was a planned trip, requiring effort and distance. Now, that long-held dream is reality. No longer a distant escape, the sea is home—ever-present and within reach. This work celebrates the profound shift from longing to belonging.
