Below each peripheral scene, she reveals hidden concern for creatures within the natural environment. Her own personal experience of this magical garden reignites her passion and is brought to life through movement, explosive colours and resonance. Whether subtle or deliberate exposure through dichotomies of wonder, her work shouts attention through texture, movement and exploration. Mesmerises viewers to see beyond the surface to capture our beautiful unique place in the world.

About the Artist
Janice Brown is a self-taught emerging Australian visual artist based in North Sydney. In 2020, during the lockdown in Sydney and long service leave from work, she discovered a visual flair. After experimenting with watercolours and inks, creating greeting cards, it developed a newfound interest to launch an online store of her art in 2021. Her main passion now is working with acrylic and mixed media on large canvas’, exploring various techniques and textures by using modelling paste, gesso and embellishments, using composition to create depth and movement. These signature ‘go-to’ designs (underwater adventure within the Great Barrier Reef) create depth plus her own unique quirky, playful, movement in an abstract and figurative style. Each piece is designed to create conversation, draws the audience in, and promotes our distinct country whilst reflecting her own happy personality.
