Description
Black Hole, is a toroid sculpted from clay with carbon trapping finish. This piece intends to highlight the almost blind nature of humans. We have the capacity to explore space and perceive black holes, yet down on Earth, we are unable to perceive the effect we have on our environment and communities. Whilst space exploration represents the potential of humans, it also serves as a bleak reminder that if we wanted to we could fix the world. Yet choice means we don’t.
Materials Recycled clay, carbon trapping
