The Art of Tea Workshop
From beginners to painting experts, join us at the wonderful Madison’s Café & Patisserie for a delicious high tea, where you will be guided through painting your own ceramic tea cup & saucer with Monte Lupo Arts.

Time | 10.30am – 12.30pm
Where | Maddison’s Café & Patisserie, Oasis Shopping Centre | 12 Charles Avenue, Broadbeach QLD
Cost | $105 + booking fee
The workshop program is as follows:
10.30am – Guests greeted at Madison’s Café and start with a tea or coffee
10.45am – Monte Lupo introduce the workshop activity and each guest will draw their design with pencil
11.15am – Break for high tea
11.45am – Guests use underglaze to paint design onto cup and saucer
12.30pm – Event concludes and guests depart
Cup and saucer will be taken back to the Monte Lupo studio for firing and then guests can collect.

Monte Lupo is a Multicap organisation. Multicap is a state-wide non-profit, established in 1962, that provides high-needs disability, individual, respite, and family support for people with disabilities their families, and carers in Queensland. In 1991 Multicap established the Monte Lupo Social Enterprise to provide a career path for people with disabilities who wished to be gainfully employed in an area encouraging creativity and artistic expression. Today Monte Lupo studio employees over 21 artists with a disability and 3 artists to manage and oversee all studio production. Monte Lupo has exhibited at SWELL Sculpture Festival since 2007 and is always a crowd favourite with their quirky and often whimsical brightly coloured ceramic masterpieces.
