JARA Pronounced juh-rah, meaning Mother Earth in Yugambeh language. This gentle sculpture, presented by Digi Youth Arts is a collaboration between 5 young women, traditional owners of the salt water country it stands on. It is a gift of remembering and honouring Mothers, Aunties and Grandmother ancestors, created in the strength of their ongoing stories.
